Requirements

Students are required to complete at least 120 credit hours, including 41 hours of General Education courses; a minimum of 45 hours must be taken in 300- and 400-level courses  to meet university graduation requirements (Honors Seminar credit cannot be applied toward this 45-hour upper-level credit requirement). A general University degree requirement is that a student must have an adjusted grade point average of at least 2.0 in all course work. The Ray P. Authement College of Sciences requires an adjusted grade point average of at least 2.3 for all courses in the major field of study. To qualify for graduation, a student must earn a grade of "C" or better in all BIOL courses which are applicable to the degree.

The links at left provide details on course requirements and electives and a 4-year degree plan. Electives should be selected in consultation with the your advisor. In order to enroll in any 400-level course, students must be admitted to the Upper Division.
