If you are a full time student in the resource biology and biodiversity track, the ecology evolution and marine biology track, or any of the other biology tracks and have a demonstrated interest in environmental biology, you should consider applying for a scholarship – we have four scholarships available, for a total of $3,400! In addition to being a biology major with an interest in environmental biology, applicants must be a sophomore, junior, or senior and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. To apply, complete the biology scholarship form (available from the department office or send an e-mail to “email@example.com” to request an electronic version). You can use a single form, even if you want to apply for more than one scholarship (if so state on the line for Name of Scholarship: “all available environmental biology scholarships”). The completed form and a copy of your transcript (”issued to student” version is okay) should be placed in the mailbox of Dr. Paul Klerks by October 20.
