Dr. Kelly Robinson's research is highlighted in a new Nature Toolbox article. Dr. Robinson uses artificial intelligence to process millions of images to identify the species that make up oceanci plankton. This information can be used to understand biodiversity and how biodiversity changes in response to natural processes and anthropogenic changes to the ecosystem.
