Assistant Professor Position in Immunology

The Department of Biology at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette seeks to fill a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in Immunology.  We are currently seeking outstanding scholars with exceptional research potential in any area of molecular, cellular, mucosal, or comparative immunology, preferably employing model vertebrate systems. Departmental and University research resources include murine vivarium, microscopy center and a primate research center. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent research program addressing fundamental questions in immunology and host defenses. 

Minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. in a relevant field and postdoctoral experience. Successful applicants will be expected to establish a vigorous, externally-funded research program, provide instruction to undergraduates and participate in our Ph.D. program in Environmental and Evolutionary Biology.
