*Students receiving a degree through this curriculum are eligible to become Registered Microbiologists. Information about the National Registry of Microbiologists may be obtained at the office of the Department of Biology. 1Qualified students should take MATH 270 and 301 in lieu of MATH 109 and 250.

3BHSC Elective must be chosen from ANTH, ECON, GEOG, POLS, PSYC, or SOCI.
4Must be chosen from one of the following: BIOL 354 and 356; 453(G) and 454(G); 403(G).
5Must be chosen from 300 and 400 level courses, approved by the student’s academic advisor, and meet the requirements of the American Society for Microbiologists.
