Pre-professional Advisory Committee
The Pre-Professional Faculty Advisory Committee drafts comprehensive letters of support for students applying to health professional schools.

COMMITTEE LETTER SERVICE
Submission Requirements:
Required documents: MCAT, DAT, or GRE scoresheet(s), unofficial transcript(s), and personal statement are required before a letter can be submitted.
Faculty reference: If no committee member knows you personally, please provide names of two UL Lafayette faculty who are familiar with you. They cannot be individuals writing separate recommendation letters for your application.
Blurb requests: The committee will contact these faculty members for 2-3 sentence blurbs. These faculty members should not be writing individual letters supporting the same application.
Notify your references: You must inform these faculty members to expect an email from Dr. Kulkarni before submitting the form.
Processing Timeline:
The committee requires a minimum of 21 days (3 weeks) to review your application, to prepare your evaluation, and to submit the final letter.
