Dystonia is a common movement disorder characterized by uncontrolled muscle contractions. Currently, there is no specific therapy available due to unclear disease mechanisms. By using patient-derived neurons, Dr. Ding's project aims to decipher the pathogenesis of this disoder and to seek novel molecular targets for theraputic interventions.
